New Senior Advisor for NeIC

Michaela Barth has been appointed Senior Advisor of NeIC for the year 2025.

NeIC welcomes Michaela Barth as Senior Advisor to the XT Team!

NeIC (Nordic e-Infrastructure Collaboration) is delighted to announce the return of Michaela to its XT team as a Senior Advisor, effective May 2025. Michaela previously served as NeIC Executive Manager, playing a key role in the executive team with primary responsibility for NeIC's overall management. Her previous employment was highly valued, and her return marks a significant boost for the organisation.

"I consider the years I spent at NeIC as a very fruitful and giving experience, and not only for my personal development," Michaela shared. "It was a real privilege to be part of something big. I have great memories of an exciting and meaningful journey, wonderful colleagues, and a purpose which it was very easy to feel engagement and everyday motivation for."

NeIC is excited to leverage Michaela’s extensive experience and deep understanding of e-infrastructure and large-scale system management in her new Senior Advisor role. Her impressive background includes leading Sweden’s national academic HPC flagship system, Dardel, at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, towards sustainable design and efficient operations and further developing its business model for industrial collaboration or its digital twin. Beyond this, Michaela has a deep history of driving key initiatives during her previous employment as NeIC Executive Manager, overseeing numerous projects. Her expertise is further underscored by significant involvement in major European collaborations like nowadays ETP4HPC, demonstrating her comprehensive understanding of the e-infrastructure landscape from national to international levels.
